The EcoBioMaterials Design Lab is excited to welcome its first PhD student, Joelis Velez Diaz, and undergraduate student, Kennedy Gallagher! Joelis joins the lab as a Chair Fellow after completing her BS in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Materials Science at WPI in 2024. She previously worked with Professor Michael Timko on waste valorization. Kennedy is completing her BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Global Perspectives in Engineering.
